@10 - That's not true. That only happens if a revolving limit is not reported to the credit agencies. I don't believe there is any current providers that do not report the revolving limit (Capital One was the only one, but they got so much bad press they changed it).

@3/6 - This doesn't impact your credit score as long as Chase continues to report your revolving credit limit which is what they're saying they're going to do. Paying your credit card late is not reported unless you are more than 30 days past due.

This is not a new concept. For the past five years or so if you have any sort of decent credit and steady income you should have been receiving lots of offers for credit cards with "No Limits!!" (e.g. Visa Signature). These cards all do in fact have limits of course, but it's more a marketing ploy. All cards enforce a revolving limit which is the amount of debt you can carry and the banks say they'll make "individual credit decisions" on purchases that exceed the limit.

The whole point being please take some responsibility. No one is making you buy that new iPhone and charge it on your ridiculously high predatory lending card that you took out. And oh wait, you didn't pay on time and now your APR is in default? But somehow it isn't your fault...I get it.

@240 - Is "Bitch" okay to use or is that a no-no? It's hard to keep up what terms have been co-opted to empower and which ones make you sad. Maybe make helpful T-Shirts or something so people know? I think it might just be helpful if you grew up a little bit, but then would you still get to be all "crazy" and "anarchy"? Keep racking up the student loan debt down there in Eugene so you have something to be angry about at OWS.

"kinky queer radical anarcha-feminist pansexual polyamorous trans dyke who's into DIY"

That's cute.

@Will - I'm curious which tax exemptions you're referring to (that's a serious question, wasn't being an ass...)?

@54/60 - Exactly, so tired of being lumped in with the other 1%. OWS does not represent the 99% (although it is a cute slogan).

I do certainly respect her convictions and, ironically, she seems to be one of the few who isn't shirking taking responsibility and acknowledging her actions. Perhaps a lesson for the other "99%"...?

@ 1 - Because we have laws and rules...You should be concerned that there wasn't one in place prior.

Charles, what does "...after the mathematics and doctrines of supply-side economics have been denaturalized, lost legitimacy." mean?

@21 - Aww, that is cute...Please do share your thoughts on the state of the world. Is it bad? Unfair? Can you share how you've been wronged? Grow up...

@70 - The world is not fair, nor is their an implicit promise of fairness in the American dream. Being an adult who takes responsibility for my actions, I do what I have to in order to meet the financial commitments I've made and support my family. It's not about drinking kool aid, it's about putting your big girls pants on and being an adult. The reason the majority of people aren't taking OS seriously is because almost everyone is impacted and shares many of the concerns voiced by OS...We just don't enjoy the behavior that makes OS look like bratty little kids.
