While growing up, I lived next to an old man named Adolf. He was of Austrian descent and moved over to North America when he was a small child. He was in his 80s and had a huge property at the end of our road. On his own dime, he built a bunch of massive dog pens and took in numerous dogs that the local humane society couldn't. I always looked up to this man for being so kind to animals that didn't have homes, or were refused homes by owners who couldn't handle dogs. He always let my friends and I go into the pens and play with the animals and this was one of the best memories of my childhood. After reading this story, I realize how stupid of a stupid 8 year old child I was... I was a complete moron for not understanding that all people named Adolf were despicable creatures! I should probably go piss on is grave next time I visit my parents.
