I know Seattle is full of free thinkers and other people who don't conform to the predilections of portions of society including people who support "worthless" arts such as pro sports, but hot damn it's fun to watch you silly hipsters flip the eff out every time we build a brand new golden sports palace here, and it inevitably becomes something a large number of people across the entire region feel a serious amount of pride in...just makes my heart sing.

I have to ask the asshats who are voting for Mitt Romney exactly how many jobs he needs to send to China, how many tax dollars he owes under the law that he has to cheat us out of, how many blatant lies he has to tell, how much BIGGER of a worthless piece of scumbag shit he has to become before you stop the hero worship of your new Mormom god? Seriously, he could put his fist up your ass (what's that? It's in there right now??) and you'd thank him and ask where the other fist is. Do the real Americans a favor and don't breed. Move to China and show your support for Mittens' economic policy.

I'll bet if you stormed the building with an AK and a backpack full of ammo, you could manage to get out of the building with something no one would want a bad-natured psychopath to have in his possession. So unless you have a secure facility with armed guards, a flippant attitude about potential danger seems pretty ignorant in the 21st century.

@32...thank you. I'm not a vet but I recognize the selflessness it takes to risk your life for a meager paycheck...and I do think vets deserve a little more credit than the average resource-sucking American who can't be bothered to sacrifice anything of themself for the greater good of anyone. So yeah, it's worse to assault a vet, IMO, but does that mean it's "right" to assault a non-vet? Of course not, and I really don't think that's what Anon was trying to say. But hey, why try to ascertain what someone's actual point is when you can just take their words out of context in a juvenile attempt to denigrate the service of others, of which you were a beneficiary?

The taxpayers are going to pay for the healthcare of poor people one way or another, for at least as long as the Hippocratic Oath still applies to ER docs, I say. Would you rather pay up front to get all people the proper preventative care, or pay a whole lot more down the line in ER and ICU care for the same people's maladies that could have been managed or even prevented with proper up front care? Maybe I'm just a pragmatist, but to me it's an obvious choice even without the (to me) equally obvious moral argument.
