There was a lot of good art here. BUT it was not affordable. I don't think the organizer's really understand what Seattleites think is "affordable". Most things appeared to be in the range of 2,000 dollars. I think most PNW people would rather hang a funky piece of art they found on a street corner and use that 2000 dollars to travel or climb or buy a bike or beer or whatever.

Does anyone else hate the trolley because it totally fucks up biking in Cap Hill?

This place continues to book fine acts, but upon arrival you are met with a watered-down set, a mild clientele, and an often too packed space. It seems Grimm's, which draws a relatively homogeneous crowd, is also moving upstairs. That said, the space itself is nice and the music is fun to dance to.

Why don't you use your money to do something good then?

But, actually, does anyone know how to begin to push back on this development? I don't even know where to start? Some people seem to be stating that changing historical preservation laws are where it is at, yes?

The fact that their website actually states "Northwest Pride: Our understanding of the unique people and markets in our region is a powerful asset" makes me ill.
