commented on How to Defeat a Pit Bull with Your Bare Hands
I live in Chicago and wish I had read this post before this weekend. I was out walking my Shih-Tzu and my Yorkie Poo this past Sunday as I normally do every evening. There was a car parked on the street with its windows rolled down. Two guys in the front seat and an unrestrained Pitbull in the back. The dog jumped out the window and came running toward me. I was able to pick up and save my Shih-Tzu but couldn't get to my Yorkie in time. The Pitbull bit through him and broke his back and with his intestines hanging out left me standing there watching over his throbbing body as he took his last breath. I don't wish for anyone to ever have to witness such a gruesome sight. Fact is every dog can have a bad day, fact is when most dogs bite the attack isn't deadly, fact is when a Pitbull bites he doesn't let go and the injuries are always series if not fatal.
