I think you mean "non-model fish" rather than "none-model fish". Most geneticists use a specific model species to represent all other species. So a non-model fish is a fish they don't usually consider. I don't know what a none-model fish is.

Public figures get called out for saying or doing unintentionally racist, sexist, or heterosexist things all the time. I would really like to see one of them respond with "That was unintentional, but I've been schooled, and yep that was [blank]ist. Here's what I'm going to do about it in the future..." instead of "But I'm not a [blank]ist/I didn't mean to offend any one/I'm sorry YOU were offended/but some of my best friends are [insert minority here]"

I love this a lot. I also miss living in a place where you hear train whistles. The urban soundscape may leave a lot to be desired compared to the rural place I live now, but I will always miss the train whistles.

Before you totally ridicule the gondola idea you should know that they are between half and a quarter the cost of a monorail. The modern ones run at speeds two or three times as fast as the one you're thinking about at Disney Land. Because they run continuously, there is no waiting for one to arrive, just walk on. It keeps you out of the rain, some of them are heated. They're quiet. I think these are great ideas for public transit.

Do people in lower income or minority groups have less to "loose" by coming out? Just an idea. I also wonder if there's anything you could figure out about the "don't know/didn't answer" group. Are they all closeted or offended by the question?
