John Urquhart is the more progressive candidate and was endorsed by FUSE and received a higher rating from Seamec. I'll be voting for Urquhart for Sheriff, he's far better than having a Republican with the same voting record as Michele Bachmann leading law enforcement.

@2 sort of undermines their claim that political advertising in newspapers will be effective if they cannot even get the terminology right.

Ref 74 and John Urquhart for Sheriff were also at Lobby Bar last night holding a joint fundraiser. Sen. Ed Murray spoke at the event and thanked Urquhart for his support.

While I'm glad Strachan has finally joined Urquhart in his support of I-502, that certainly wasn't the case in the beginning of the race. It's pretty obvious he's pining for the Stranger endorsement with his sudden change of heart.

Nice try oldman. Strachan voted with the entire Republican caucus not to denounce his fellow Republican's hate-filled comments. It was this same Republican caucus Strachan chose to stand with that also voted in favor of a Constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage in that same session. Strachan just happened to miss all three votes related to equal rights for same sex couples that session. Those aren't the values King County wants in its Sheriff.
