@echo4u

If we're going on anecdotal evidence, then 100% of the straight males I know (and know about their proclivities) enjoy anal action of some sort. That's 100% out of one, but that's the problem with just asking your buddies.

I agree with the other commenter who said sometimes people lie because they are embarrassed. It also kinda depends where you live. Here in Seattle, its more acceptable for guys (white guys anyway) to explore their sexuality and their bodies.

And there are still tons of people who think that if you do one gay-ish thing, you must be gay. It's simply not true.

@7 Mercer Island and Sammamish are both in King County. Even Olympia wouldn't be part of the seceding East WA group.

I didn't see it as heterocentrist. It mentions 'partner' not wife or gf. In my world pink /= girl.

I keep waiting for my roommate to keel over.

Not anticipating, just expecting.

I feel the same way. Once a few years ago, my brother stated that he thinks Fox News was the best/gets it right. I don't remember his words, but the knowledge that my highly intelligent brother somehow buys this crap was shocking.

@23. I drive a Subaru and you're right! I just bought the car from a friend for real cheap, and it's kinda changed my whole driving persona. I go the speed limit, or just above, and stop when the light turns yellow. What have I become?

*Either I've changed, or driving only on the Eastside makes it impossible to please any of the BMW-driving assholes behind me. Or probably both.

The SPL only has a small percentage of books on e-books. You can't switch them onto your iPhone, and last I knew, you could only read them on a reader that was mac-incompatible. Needless to say, I only checked out one book that way, and it was one I could read at work, and was work related, sort of. Looked like work anyway. I also could only read it for a few weeks.

Book piracy isn't going anywhere. I don't steal books, but I have bought very few in years either. I spend about $30 a year in fines at the library and wait until it's my turn if it's popular. E-books would help the wait-time, but only if they worked on my device(s).

I am participating in Infinite Summer (thank you, by the way). For the first time ever, I wish a had a Kindle*. BUT, it wouldn't actually work the way I want. What I want, and I won't be buying a reader until this happens, is if I buy a book in print format, to get rights to read it digitally as well.

*The iPhone is too small to be great for reading. I use it occasionally.

I saw (a variation of) this on Monk. You'd have to pay the crime lab a lot of money.
