Yeah, it's a copy of that.

Cautiously hopeful. Whedon for Episode VII or GTFO.

Goldy, did you actually read that sentence?

Mercer Island is an example of the end of the days when voters were inclined to approve every levy or construction bond. Districts must more closely chart critical upgrades on a schedule calibrated to economically precarious times.

Think before you post, kids. Especially when posting after midnight.

Dom, check the last link — that's Dorli Rainey being carried out of the protest, not Jeniffer Fox.

That said, I won't comment on the possible causes of Fox's miscarriage, but my heart goes out to her for the loss of her baby.

@5 I've been going to a KCLS branch for most of my life and they're doing great — it's like the recession never happened for them, almost. My first thought after reading this article was, Why's KCLS and/or King County doing so well when SPL and/or Seattle's so fucked?

Could be something to look into, Paul. Just sayin'.

To add to @5: He's not "Doctor Who," Humphrey, he's "the Doctor". Do your research.

It could have been much, much worse. (Hello there, Polar Express.) I'd have considered this a middling movie just by the visuals, but there's also a chance Steven Moffat's writing will give it a big boost.

@7 - Blame RTD. Incredibly shitty plot, but Tennant worked with the material about as well as he could, and the last 20 minutes or so were gold.

Hate to be the pedant here, but Peter Davison (Doctor #5) was the youngest before Matt Smith. Tennant certainly could've passed for ten years younger in Series 2, though.

I've yet to watch most of Series 5 and 6, but must somewhat disagree a little with feeling 'safe' around the Tenth. The Tenth's wit, cleverness and hubris were EXACTLY what made him dangerous to be around - he made an awful lot of mistakes that caused terrible things to happen, yet failed to learn from them, and if the Whoniverse followed the rules of reality his mistakes should have caught up to him long before 'The Waters of Mars'. (Example A: Deposing Harriet Jones --> the return of the Master and the Year that Never Was --> the government that allowed 'Children of Earth' to happen.) RTD made a brilliant tragic character out of him, though he seems to have done so more by accident than by design.

Also, I frakking love people who say 'frak'.
