May 7 singing cynic commented on America's Next Drag Superstar Is....
So psyched. I feel like Jinkx is MY Drag Superstar the way that Obama is MY President. Just bought my tickets to see her at the end of the month here in Boston. Now the real question: when does Logo start shooting her variety show? Because I would watch the shit out of that.

Trust me, that anti-circ crowd definitely had my ear before and during my pregnancy. That's why I struggled so much with it. But honestly, the only encounters I've had myself with uncircumcised cocks were lousy - not because they bothered me or grossed me out, but because the guys attached to them didn't like their foreskins! Neither would let me go down on them, and one didn't even want me to look at it. Hearing my friend's phimosis story, and ultimately listening to my husband (as the dick-having parent) sealed the deal. I don't regret it.

And yes, it was entirely un-traumatic. He cried more when he got vaccinated. And it healed completely in three days - and he went back to getting baby boners. (SERIOUSLY. Did you guys know about those? Because I did not and it is SURPRISING to see your weeks-old infant get an erection.)

Jesus Christ, is it narcissistic personality disorder week on Savage Love?

While I was pregnant, I was struggling over the decision of whether or not to circumcise my son. A friend of my husband's had a similar experience to the guy in the video, & that sealed the deal - better to be circumcised at 8 days old (I'm Jewish, my husband's Catholic, we went with the bris to make my mom happy since we were going to do it anyway) than in your early thirties.

Dudes like HIM are always looking for ways to feel victimized and betrayed. If it wasn't the orgasms, he would have manufactured another slight. It's a way to keep someone emotionally indebted to you, and to always be "in the right", no matter how abominable and hypocritical your behavior.

@24, Glad your encounter with someone like this only lasted a year. Mine dragged on and on - we started dating, like the LW and his girlfriend, when I was seventeen, I was dumped after my freshman year of college (during which he emotionally manipulated and controlled me). We kept having sex, which he insisted was casual, and which I hoped would turn into something more. Then he wanted to get back together whenever I had another boyfriend. The entire time we called each other "best friends" and were obsessively codependent and jealous. The whole thing lasted until the the beginning of my senior year of college when I got sick of the bullshit and cut him off. So much wasted time and energy.

Jesus, HIM sounds like a guy I was involved with ten (um... plus) years ago - down to the exact timeline of the ridiculous back and forth bullshit. It was fucking awful for BOTH of us until I cut the cord completely. The narcissism is strong with this one. Good advice, Dan - I've very little to add. Leave her alone. Stop. You are not friends. You are no good for each other. Leave. Her. The fuck. Alone.

Sounds like one of those Beckett plays that lasts 30 seconds and is 75% stage directions.

Another Boston-area slogger, here. There's a great thread on boston.com with the best twitter responses to this idiot. http://www.boston.com/ae/radio/blog/2013…

It sounds to me like he's a little resentful of living in a flyover state that's not important enough to receive any terror threats. Here's how it works: we pay taxes to train kick-ass cops who a TRAINED to keep us safe. They ask for our cooperation - to stay inside not only to stay safe, but so that there are no innocent people on the street or trying to travel, thus making the suspects easier to find and spot - and we comply. It's not rocket science.

Just read Birthright for a class - I can definitely see the influence! Not sure about Superman with a beard though.

@9, that sounds insanely hot! great way to communicate without destroying spontaneity and the illusion of danger.
