79 e-mails was the best they could offer? With all of the Catholics in the US, they should have crashed your email server. Could it be that most Catholics find Bill Donohue as odious as the rest of humanity? In any event, the conversation you had with V.S. (who is a lovely person I am sure) is the reason I don't have the same conversation with my lovely (and very religious) sister. No matter how logical your argument, it always comes down to, "if you just open your heart to Jesus, he will heal you and make you better." The idea that one doesn't want or need to change just doesn't occur to these people.
