@51:
"make like your daughters and just give it up."

Wow, when you make comments like that you completely lose any credibility you might have had. Reading through your comments, it should be obvious to anyone that you are very insecure and fearful. And you obviously have quite a temper.

It scares me that a paranoid nut case like you carries a deadly weapon.

@28:
So what make YOU entitled to insurance more than my friend who I'm sure has worked harder in her life than you ever will?
She's self employed but had cancer so she cannot afford health care (it's that pre-existing condition thang). Somehow having cancer means she couldn't possibly have earned insurance, right?

Now, with the ACA, she can get insurance and I'm so happy for her.

(If Seattleblues is that in love with her old policy, somebody should explain rescission to her.)

That's almost exactly how it was explained to me.

@3: Since I'm familiar with moderate churches in my state who have taken a strong stand on issues like pro-choice and gay marriage, I've asked the same question. I was told that these stories just aren't as interesting.

Even though I grew up to be a chemist and an engineer, I remember times when class room science was dry. It depended much on how it was taught. But field trips! Wow! Especially outdoor field trips. I can't believe they picked on an outdoor field trip. I even loved tree identification using tree keys.

Wrong again.

Obscene behavior is bad behavior, but just tacky isn't or there'd be a lot more suspensions around here given the clothing I've seen.

Whenever I see these sorts of posts, the Shakespearian misquote "Methinks he doth protest too much," runs through my mind.

I'm an old fart whose daughters are in their twenties and I fail to see what's so bad about this dance move. It's kinda tacky, but I've seen much lewder back in the 1970's. The kids aren't nekkid.

I thought HIPPA Privacy Rule protected all individually identifiable health information and not just names.
Yet the Health Department was prepared to release the city of residence, age, ethnicity and abortion history of patients and when and where each abortion was performed to some anti abortion activist?
It seems to me this information could easily be used to identify some individuals and obviously should be protected.
