#18 Black folk back in say 1950 America could cook and eat at home. Going to a cafe is not remotely a necessity as you say. YET the civil rights act of 1964 saw things differently. Buying Flowers of one's choice, eating at a cafe of one's choice, living in the neighborhood of one's choice should not be dependent on the "religious beliefs" of those controlling the flower shop, cafe, neighborhood. No one "imposed" anything on the florist other than buying flowers! GOSH that's what a florist does, sells flowers. No one will impose anything on you either. Not to worry. However, if some one seeks your services and you say, "I don't serves Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Black folk, nor women." You too might have a law suit to deal with.

I do not understand how her freedom to believe as she wishes has been altered? How are her beliefs being violated? Her ACTIONS are totally different. You know, love the sinner but hate her sin does apply. She can belief her sin is fine and I love her for her belief, but her sinning ways (discrimination) I do hate. Amen. Now let's get a drink.

Cheap products and poor building code enforcement have nothing to do with each other. You can not mix the two. If the workers are paid 500K a year and sell the products for hundreds of dollars, poorly built structures will still fall apart. The REAL problem is city workers are on the take. Or they don't care to enforce building codes. Probably both.
