I dunno @4 and @6, for the last 10 years or so, when I've heard the words "Michael Jackson", I've thought "batshit-crazy child-toucher" before I thought "genius musician". I guess it doesn't make his music any worse in my mind, but it DEFINITELY adds some context that clouds the original rosy picture a bit.

Wow, checked out 7 Generations after reading @5's comment and seeing a ton of people wearing their shirts at Burning Fight a couple weeks ago. So good. I wish I had heard of them earlier.

Every band I saw that weekend was great, and brought back amazing memories. But yeah, it was especially epic when Trial and Unbroken played. Everyone went nuts, screaming along with every word. I can't imagine a better illustration of what the book is trying to convey that those two sets.
