His return address is a stamp!
As a 16 year old working at a bookstore when the first book came out, I sold a ton of his books and regularly pawed through them in the back room on my breaks. Never got tired of slowly turning their pages and exploring it all.
Great interview/story/preview... only wish I wasn't working Monday night.

KC BLS units check blood sugar and can administer Epi's (the latter due to someone dying while waiting for a medic to arrive). Finding out that Seattle BLS units aren't doing the former is very surprising. I'm going to be asking around to find out more.

Yes, they super suck. Pricey, a pain in the ass to switch out and store, terrible for our infrastructure. But, for better of worse, I have a job that I can't not go to because there's a little snow; one of those silly life and death kind of jobbie jobs. I also get off of work after the busses stop running. So, it's either walk home 11 miles in the snow, or I get the damn studded tires (putting on and removing chains on the freeway at 3 AM is not an option, so don't suggest it). At least I drive a tiny city car, so hopefully I'm causing 2% less damage than the big vehicles.

I've had a lot of hverabrauð in northern Iceland (sounds like the same thing, different name), and that shit is amazing delicious. Smeared with a dose of Icelandic butter, it's food heaven.
