Fewer Dungeons, More Dragons.
The books Wizards has been putting out in the last year have been a vast improvement over the largely flavorless "core" books that launched 4e and I think Mike Mearls and Monte Cooke will come up with something interesting for the new rules. 4e has its problems but I have no desire to go back to 3x. I played it for 10 years and its high-level battles got just as bogged down in tactics and detail as any in the new edition. We'll know more after the public playtests later this month but if it winds up sucking I'll probably go with one of the retro clone editions out there. Those in the "Old School Revival" have been doing some really great stuff.

Journey to Nowhere.
The last couple seasons of BSG were way too concerned with all the "Final 5" prophecies and visions and all that BS. I never cared about that and it didn't make any sense to me. So these same people bounce from one end of the galaxy to the other at least 2-3 times and civilization developed the same way in each case so that they could return and tag along with the humans that don't get wiped out by a machine revolt to start the whole thing over again? Because angels, that's why! The series worked best when it echoed current events and went places the rest of the media was still too scared to touch. Should have ended on the burned-out "earth" - it would have been a bummer but it would have made a lot more sense.

"Cut or shut! Cut or shut!".
If Marvel's Civil War taught us anything, it's that Spider-Man would side with Iron Man's pro-government faction. But later he might reconsider - I don't know, I stopped reading that series.
