commented on Seattle Reacts to the Worst Decision RuPaul's Ever Made
As someone who has been a big fan of Ben for years in his live performances, I can't say I ever thought he came off as terribly likable in this format. He's a very specific, burlesquey queen. He's a quiet introvert, and it resulted in a distinct lack of warmth from him throughout the season.
Go back and watch Season 5. Jinkx is INSTANTLY warm and likable, because there's much less of a wall between Jinkx the queen and Jerick. Ben has that wall very, very strongly built. And it shows.
Sure, he definitely deserved to stay on longer than fucking Courtney or Darienne. But when Bianca'a biggest problem is wearing a similar silhouette every week - something that RuPaul has been guilty of for 20 years now - I don't know how anyone thought Ben would beat her out.
But yeah, this season sucks.

Also, hold the fucking phone: if tips and health care are allowed to be included, are they allowed to be included PAST the $9.32 mark of the current state minimum wage?
If so, the wages of every server and bartender in Seattle will go DOWN as a result of this.

I'm an accountant at a restaurant on Capitol Hill.
If we raised EVERYONE to $15/hour, including tipped employees, our total payroll costs would rise 4.33%.
So yeah, ask your local businesses. Not only are most of us better at math than this stupid motherfucker, but we serve much better food and drink than Liberty ever will.

It's a super cute idea, but 90% of the population can't tell the difference between a midrange AAC file and a high-end AAC file anyway, much less the difference between high-end and lossless. Throwing even more quality on top of is SERIOUS overkill.
Plus, $400 for something that I can't use as a phone? HILARIOUS. If you want the heart back in music, stop having your drummers use metronomes.
