You live in a city. The correct thing to do is to be cognizant of the presence of your neighbors. Keep it down to a dull roar, don't invade personal space, and recognize that there are certain limited and small pockets of geography where we should all be able to escape to a moment or two of relative quiet and calm. If you can't do that, you should consider moving to a rural area where it doesn't matter as much how badly your parents failed to teach you basic manners when you're out in public.

What's all the fuss about being in the pocket of the elite when the same charge could be leveled at any and every Democrat? What other candidate in this race is going to refrain from giving hand outs to developers and other billionaires and millionaires? Refresh my memory, is there a Green or a Socialist running in the race?

commented on Management, Not Unions, to Blame for Twinkie Baker's Demise
Blaming it on management is an equally simple (and stupid) message to sell. The problem - over and over and over again - is that basic necessities like health coverage (even with the ACA), retirement coverage, and a basic floor for wages, are tied to employers and not publicly available to all.

"And climate change is real. And rape really does cause pregnancy sometimes. And evolution is a thing! And Benghazi was an attack on us, it was not a scandal by us. And nobody is taking away anyone's guns. And taxes have not gone up. And the deficit is dropping, actually. And Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction..."
Yeah, the problem is that climate is being ignored by the administration, we're discussing abortion rights on the terms of right wing zealots, some people's guns DO need to be taken away, taxes need to go up, and we're still in dozens of countries waging both known and covert/proxy wars. Democrats need to wake up.
