I agree with Paul that the automatic trailer-making program must be destroyed.

That bridge is super narrow and has always been freaky to cross, and thankfully I will never have to cross it again. The temporary separation of the lands north of the Skagit could be fun for a while.

My federal gov't office has been in a hiring freeze for ages, and my agency is way behind on summer hiring of temp employees because they need to hire more people to do the hiring. Or some bullshit like that. Due to the sequester, our IT department (already taken away from our local units years ago) has reduced its workforce so I can't get any work done due to a hung up computer. Permanent employees who retire aren't replaced, or are replaced by a parade of part time temps. That is just my tiny window of this week. Fuck, yeah, the government could hire some people. I've been a seasonal "temporary" worker with no benefits for 17 years now. But hey, at least I have a job.

Amazon is selling the book for $10 less than my local bookstore. Hard choices.

I might re-watch "Someone I Touched" rather than play this clip.

I've barely watched TOS as an adult I realize, but I wanted to be Spock when I was 7 watching reruns with my Nana.
Mar 14 beatgrl commented on Which Is The Best Star Trek Series?.
Though I voted for TNG, I have a soft spot for Voyager as well. It does have some memorable episodes: "Blink of an Eye" with Daniel Dae Kim, and "Year of Hell" with Kurtwood Smith. (Just a few more calculations!)
We used to have a weekly Star Trek night with our neighbors back in the day (before we all just consumed media in isolation with laptops and headphones.) Maybe the key was our enjoyment of green leafy material, but we always enjoyed the camp, not to mention the hilarious "techtalk."

How am I going to read slog now?
