Daisey's statement makes it sound like he was asked to withdraw from the ceremony because HE'S TOO FAMOUS AND AWESOME and his presence would be too much of a distraction.

They came from a house on Belmont & Howell. I used to live right next to them. The chickens would get out sometimes, but they never got more than a block or so in the past...
