"Overheard at the Record Store".
From my days at Easy Street, the classic "Would Jethro Tull be under J or T?"
My favorite time was back when I worked at Second Time Around (RIP), a guy walked in and I said "Hey how's it going?" His reply was "I've got two dollars." I said "OK." Then he asked me if we would by his baseball. I said that we did not by sporting goods, that we were, in fact, a record store. Then he spent his two dollars on a button and called me a Narc and left.

Comet Bouncer Ben Hills Killed in Fire.
This fucking sucks. I'm sure literally everyone knew Ben and everyone has a story. But when I first moved to Seattle the first job I got was also the shittiest I've ever had. And Ben was one of my coworkers and was one of the only ones that was nice to me. He left a huge impression on me and it made playing at the Comet a better experience. RIP.

"The Assault of Holy Music".
Eric's Trip
or Hey Joni
or anything Lee sings. About three years ago I started seeing a therapist to figure out why I always liked Lee's songs better. I thought there was something wrong with me. Although Thurston is unassailably cool, the coolest even, and Kim (circa 1994) is my number one hottest musician and I wanted to like them more, Lee's songs have always been my easy favorites.
