TV dinner

I have to disagree with your post as the election of Joe Biden as VP proves we don't care if we have an idiot a heartbeat away from the Presidency as long as we don't have one as President.

No point in using your name since you think we should all be stacked into little cages, like chickens or rabbits. Assigning numbers just makes it easier to keep track of everyone. Perhaps a tattoo? Isn't this the same kind of affordable housing the Nazis encouraged in Warsaw? One person per room, then two people per room, then three, then......

Anyway, I'm glad you think that we should all be able to live where ever we want and not where ever we can afford.

Interestingly enough, I saw a Papa Murphy's Pizza Shop the other day that accepted Food Stamps. Never mind making sure that people on government assistance are at least eating healthy foods, let's make sure they continue to eat what the want to so we have more obese children and more health problems for the Government to pay for. Maybe McDonald's will accept them also.

Hey y'all, Welcome to Uncle Barrack's Plantation.

What a great idea. To be considered a real city Seattle needs a Ghetto and here is a guy who can do it without taxpayer dollars.

I think a 10x10 room including bath is a perfect size. I would have to admit though, after having lived in Central Africa for 4 years that it is a bit small, even by African standards, but maybe the computer access will make up for that.

It seems to me that if you can't find a job that pays enough to support you where you would like to live than you should move to where you can find a job that will pay you enough to live, even if you don't want to live there. But that would require common sense and that has been in short supply in Seattle for the last 40 years.

We all come from a long line of successful hunters.

You can be a Wolf, and kill your own or you can be a Jackal and eat what others kill.

I can't believe anyone is upset by Miss California. Good Grief she is MISS CALIFORNIA in the MISS AMERCIA BEAUTY PAGENT.

What did you all expect, a Stanford Doctoral Candidate?

I can't believe anyone here actually watched the Miss America contest. Wasn't Survivor Appalachia on?

And what's with Perez Hilton? Why is he so ashamed of his real name that he takes the name of a Three Star Hotel Chain?

Why is it so difficult to split a vote between Obama and Richert? Perhaps John McCain and Darcy Bruner were just seen as lesser choices.

As a person who has lived in the confines of the 8th District almost my entire life I see people who think about their vote and don't vote the 'Union Way' or the Conservative Way' but the thoughtful way. Why is thinking before you vote such a mysterious process to Democrats? I know the Author will say that because the 8th District voted for Richert that is proof that they don't think but I would submit it was proof the Author doesn't instead.

If the Democrats want to win the District they need to put up a candidate that is seen to be more trustworthy and honest than the candidate the Republicans put up. Integrity and honesty are seen as having more value than one particular viewpoint on a particular issue. Pretty simple. Evidently it has been impossible though.

I know that is not the way the other Districts always work but it is the way the 8th District works.

Interesting that the author points out Richert voted against Obama's stimulus plan, feeling we couldn't afford it. Today Obama told the NYT that we can't afford the debt we now have as a Country, the same Debt that he foisted upon us. Who was right and who was wrong?

So far this guy has been accused of being a rioter, a vandal and a common thief (breaking a window in Niketown and stealing tennis shoes) and a shop lifter, (shoplifting from REI a year ago.)

Maybe that is the reason he didn't want anyone to know who he was.

I doubt that Guards who handle large amounts of cash like their pictures taken for some pretty obvious reasons.
