No, Charles, no. If you cannot retain the sensibility to conceal than you have imbibed too many, use a coffee cup.

I see a lot of heroine users at work. I do not see a lot that have gone there from Oxycodone or anything legal, sure they take whatever they can get but mostly it's other street drugs in general being done first. You don't go from a regular Joe with a hurt back to being the kind of guy that knows where to get Heroine. If you look at stats I'll bet it shows younger users are on the rise, local high schools are out of control.
I also agree that their expert gives dubious advice, at least add the caveat of having good personal boundaries. It was a quote out of context after all.

Rad, my home town made the Slog!! My best friend lives a few miles down river and her family lost a dog to this pack too. It is very strange behavior for wolves. They also had several other dogs with them so it's super weird. Not rabies weird though.
They will never take guns away from Alaskans!
This is very near to where they shoot the show Goldrush by the way. It's terrible there, never visit! Just kidding it's the best place on earth, that's why I don't want you there.

All the anecdotal cab stories are irrelevant. We know cabs are often terrible. The whole purpose of their regulations were to keep them from being worse.
It is certain that people will continue to use cabs, whether it's phone, debit card related or not. It will assuredly effect those with less money than you. You don't care? Good for you. Let's hope it's not your grandma who has never heard of Uber and doesn't know how to use the app anyway.
What might effect you is that the rider is not insured in the standard "ride share" set up. There is already a lawsuit out there about an accident, who will pay remains to be seen. It will probably not be Uber.
It would seem fair that everybody driving strangers for money should have a minimal standard, most basic being commercial insurance coverage and a business license.
Based on comments it appears that one of the versions (UberBlack?) just arranges a private car, seems like you Saturday-nighters would be just as happy. All the convenience and cleanliness you deserve.
Listen to Goldy, he might have actually looked into the issue.

This being all over the news is a serious win all by itself. People will be more willing to step forward about these "minor" violations in the future. Public humiliation is an awesome punishment for Officer Marion. I had forgot his name already but I won't now. He'll probably have to move!

@6- Do you really live in Seattle? You have never been able to get on Aurora from Mercer and carpool lanes require only two people.

It appears the only actual wheel chair user on here says essentially "fuck yeah."
It is clearly similar enough to be unmistakably the same meaning. You really can't change an international symbol too aggressively.

Gives people with a difficult life a little more empowerment?

This book is awesome! I discovered it as an adult and have read it several times, then the rest of the series. Underlying Mormon ideology does emerge and it is disturbing. How can I not see the movie??? Pirate. I actually did buy the books secondhand, mostly cause they were hard to find, just gave them away to Ballard Value Village if you want them.
