The other side is that the medical practitioner shouldn't have to be subjected to racist bullshit on the job. So maybe the policy has a "benefit" if career opportunities aren't lost.

@36 - I like you. Good, non confrontational things to do.

@32 - No, it's just that those assholes listen to men first. If men flat out say it's unacceptable behaviour and say so, not just think so, it's more likely to stop. Those guys are often performing for a (male) audience, so if the audience says BOOOOOOOO GET OFF THE STAGE they will.

Yummy, Margaret Atwood's "Chicken Nubbin's" come to life! Though those seemed much crueler than some IV muscle.

@5 THANK YOU. When I want whiskey, I want whiskey not increasing amounts of water. If you have 2 oz. of whiskey and even 1 ice cube, you're significantly watering down a good drink.

Whiskey rocks are nice just to cool it down a bit without watering it down or making it so cold that you kill the taste.

@2 I think the whole point was that we've been manipulated to eat certain foods.

"Bliss points" were important when fats/sugars/salts were hard to come by, but now finding your bliss just makes you too fat. Addictive as nicotine and nearly as evil. I say nearly, because in moderation (i.e. once a month) those foods aren't terrible.

Never thought I'd be relieved with this being ONLY child endangerment... usually these posts have dead/seriously injured children.

Good question @1 - I know where I live, a rural "designated farm" have substantially less property tax to pay. But that's Ontario, Canada so who knows what a city can do? It's probably something similar though.
