@2: seriously, right? When was the last time AZ's malt liquor/cocaine shtick was even remotely funny, either as a non-sequitur, a caustically casual dismissal, or any other semi-plausible attempt at semi-humor. He's been dropping it in like a comments section turd for well over 10 years now, and it's basically never entertaining, let alone funny.

Thank you, every little reminder helps. It's been a little bruise to the confidence for us hair-chested fellas ever since Tom Seleck was dumped by the fantasy-zeitgeist in favor of the hairless Calvin Klein cupcake ideal. I was born two decades late. Fortunately the individual lovers who really DO like running their fingers through a shag carpet aren't too shy to express that preference.

@1: Don't you get it? Her desire to be seen as "cool" and "in the know" by a boy she was crushing on - and that she hoped was crushing on her - was a de facto move of oppression by The Patriachy. But now she's throwing off the chains of the expectations of hetero-normative gender roles and speaking out all of these decades later. Thank you, thank you, Kathleen! The noble cause of social justice is immeasurably advanced by your bravery, your willingness to shine a bright light into the dark corners of male privilege. Never again shall you have to feign engagement in anyone else's interests!
The days of tyranny will soon be over! Only then will the boys begin to pretend to be interested in their girlfriend's favorite shitty bands!
