commented on Why Street Harassment Matters
this is just an expression of male sexuality, often times a very poor attempt at being sweet. most men do not mean harm, despite the theorizing. dont like it? ignore it or talk back. feel unsafe? carry mace or avoid places where it happens most. think its just about women? men face their own problems in the streets. usually those are the people cat calling.
its fine to complain about it, but its a fact of life that has always been around and wont change until there are no more desperate men.

Pfff, one of the major reasons I'm glad I moved away from Seattle. This is some straight up hard-core emasculating misandrist bullshit. American woman stay away from me? That is very true of Seattle women. This type of superiority feminism is a very Seattle / hipster bratty thing. Thank Zeus for real wonderful, sweet, warm, intelligent, think-for-yourself women that. The Seattle hipster thing is just anti-male, anti-masculine hate.

there are no magic words too bad to use. some people just have overly sensitive feelings that are easily hurt, often paired with inflated egos and self sacred righteousness. fuck em.

Cheers Broadway Grill, you served me a crisp martini as a fresh faced 19yr old on my first night of 12 years in Seattle. I remember fondly that martini and the really nice guy who obliged me as I watched the twilight moon. Ah the 90s is Seattle were awesome.
