SL Letter of the Day: Do It, Sissy.
As a GI/Endoscopy nurse, can I just add...NO, NO, and NO.
I can't count how many times I've been called in to the hospital at 10 o'clock at night to dig something out of some poor misguided person's ass. Use a butt plug and a pad. If you want it to be uncomfortable, skip the lube.

It Gets Better: SF Giants.
I'm sitting at home on a rare day off, watching the Giants game and reading Slog. Very happy to hear that our world champion band of misfits will be making a video for the IGBP. Our guys are just the ones to do it, and I will be very surprised if current players aren't in the video. Go Giants!

It Gets Better's "1000 Libraries" Campaign.
I was surprised there weren't more donations from the SF Bay Area, so I just rectified that by sending a copy to my daughter's catholic high school. They're pretty progressive, so I'm sure they'll be happy to get it.

My Current Life Crisis.
Back in the very late 80s, I had an enormous crush on Luke Perry. I got a babysitter and went by myself to a matinee of some movie he was in (not 8 seconds) and walked out after 30 minutes (the only time I've ever walked out of a movie). Even LPs gorgeous face on that screen could not redeem that movie. Although I've sat through other movies w/bad reviews just to see some other bloke I've liked, and did so happily. So, it's kind of up to you. Oh, and I do realize I've been of no help whatsoever. Enjoy whatever you decide!

Here's What I Want For My Birthday.
Donated.
Happy Birthday, Dan.
An article about the It Gets Better project was on the front page of the SF Chronicle here on Friday. You've really done something wonderful with this, Dan.
Love and Peace.
