Yeah, it's a copy of that.

May 7 foolish-rain commented on Delaware Beats Minnesota—Eleventh State to Legalize Gay Marriage.
Ummmm, about Minnesota: this state is YEARS from approving gay marriage. The proposition last fall just removed the first hurdle--it merely blocked an amendment that would have limited marriage to hets. This is still the state of Bachmann, as well as Franken and Klobuchar. We have the hateful Anoka school district and the only Muslim in the US Congress.

This state is not rushing towards gay marriage. In fact, I expect a couple of neighboring states (*cough* Wisconsin *couch* Iowa) will get there years ahead of MN.
Apr 1 foolish-rain commented on This American Life's Harper High School Reporting Won't Leave My Mind.
God that story is a kick in the groin. I am glad that we can give to support Harper. But I am intensely discouraged at how ordinary and usual schools like Harper are. The lack of resources is a profound and inexcusable lapse of public common sense and decency...
Mar 25 foolish-rain commented on A Probe for Michele Bachmann.
Ooooooo... The House Ethics Committee. Maybe she'll get a firm finger-wagging AND a slap on the wrist. This is non-news regardless of the outcome. Except that she will turn this into persecution by the liberal, anti-christian, "fake Americans" she 's constantly hounded by, i.e. her colleagues in the House.

"Amanda Knox...retry her in the murder of British student Meredith Kercher."

Well, we know what Charles is jacking off to this fine day.
Mar 12 foolish-rain commented on From the Nazi Pope to the Godfather Pope?.
Up side: the Mafia is a LOT less tolerant of pedophiles (according to my Sicilian uncles, who are legitimate businessmen).
Feb 4 foolish-rain commented on Cherry Street Coffee Update: Sick-Leave Surcharge Signs Removed, Owner Calls Paid Sick Leave "Fantastic".
I was hoping he'd go the other way and completely breakdown his prices into a series of "surcharges": rent, water, electricity, napkins, stir sticks, coffee, cups, lids, salaries, insurance. Just hundreds of signs explaining what percentage of the cost goes to what overhead cost...
Nov 28, 2012 foolish-rain commented on The Most Awkward Lunch in the History of the World....
I'm just hoping Mittens can make it through the whole meal without calling Obama "Boy".
Nov 1, 2012 foolish-rain commented on They Sure Unskewed the Hell Out of Those Polls.
Minnesota is about to enshrine hetero-only marriage AND a draconian voter ID law in the constitution. And re-elect Michele Bachmann. Don't be to sure that Obama will win here. It ain't Humphrey's winter wonderland anymore...
Oct 24, 2012 foolish-rain commented on Chris Kluwe's Radio Spot for Minnesotans for Equality.
I swear to god that some days Kluwe is the ONLY bright spot in this frigid, Bachmann-infused, anti-gay hell hole. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like gay marriage will be constitutionally banned here in two weeks...
Oct 11, 2012 foolish-rain commented on Oh Yeah, It's National Coming Out Day.
Son: I'm gay.
Mother: No you're not.
Father: This is your fault, Mother.

...aaand scene! This has been another historical recreation from the Meet My Family series.
