Today in Artsy Movie Plots.
Hang on, I didn't realize this was a David Schmader post. David, you'd probably enjoy The Gorilla. But non-professionals should not attempt Ritz Brothers movies without special training.

Seattle's Crappiest Bus Route.
I was *just about* to mention the 106! Especially the midnight run, starting with waiting at the 3rd/Union stop for a half hour. Highly recommended.
Personally, the worst bus ride I ever had in King County was on the 110, which is a free local in Renton. Someone cut the bus off in traffic, and the driver chased the guy for four blocks until he remembered he had passengers.

Re: Re: Re: The Coming Cupcake Crash.
@10 TMQ is a ridiculously long football column that's about 30% football, 70% bloviation. It would fit in perfectly in The Stranger, actually, except that I think the guy writing it is as far to the right as the Stranger writers are to the left.

This Is How People Count the Cash Money.
I've always wanted to be able to count money like Face did on the A*Team. He'd just hold a stack of bills up to his ear, riffle it, and announce "You're $250 short" or whatever.
I have since learned that not everything on the A*Team was, strictly speaking, realistic.

Useless Books I Have Gotten in the Mail, Part 6.
@4 I'm not going to ask how you know (because I was always taught to follow instructions embedded in user names), but surely the fact that the cover has both Jillian and Pete Venters's names in large, easy-to-read letters makes this fact something of a giveaway?
