Twilight of the GOP.
Unfortunately the article's claims about why people are leaving the small towns are off. Some of the commenters had the right idea. While lack of jobs is part of it, with many people (including myself) we left smaller towns and cities because there's nothing going on there. It's about boredom. There are few chances for socialization or entertainment of the types I prefer and if your political persuasion isn't conservative, well, good luck.

(Bart enters code)
You've entered the code for regicide. If you know the name of the King or Queen being murdered...

What They Said.
Here in Massachusetts we had a referendum on doing the same thing with pot ($100 ticket for less than an ounce) and it passed. From what I hear the cops don't even issue the tickets as they've said it's not worth it. And as you'll notice, reducing the penalty on pot possession (along with allowing gay marriage) has caused MA to fall into the ocean and spontaneously combust at the same time. It's a real shame...things went downhill here so fast.

Linda Derschang: "I Wish Them Well".
@3 Also, if by "Dan Savage suggests...Starbucks sent the protesters" you mean Dan Savage read the comments from the protesters post in which someone else suggests this, then yeah.
Thank you! I couldn't help but notice Dan stole my previously stated idea.
