Yes, That Very Wealthy Man Who Lives in America's Largest New House Did Threaten to Lay Off His Employees If Obama Won.
fuck you, mr. siegal.
I too own a business that I built with my 5 employees in the worst economy since the great depression.
I didn't build it by myself. Without the loyalty and hard work of my employees, we have stayed above water, barely. But we have survived.
We all take home the same pay. Yes, I work most weekends and late into the night. I worry that I won't meet payroll. I worry that I won't be able to pay the rent or my taxes. But I also realize that my employees have lives of their own. They also have hopes and dreams. They have also given up other opportunities to keep us going. And for that I am very grateful.
It is sad that you feel so abused by our government. But let me ask you this, Mr. Siegal. Many young people have served multiple deployments to the Middle East. Many have given up their hopes and dreams with the loss of limbs. Some 7,000 have given their lives - just so you can live your dreams of owning the largest mansion in America. How many of them work for you? How many of them have you reached out to employ?
Do you think you built your company by yourself? Or do you think you might just owe a little bit to your employees, and maybe those that have sacrificed so much for you?
fuck you, mr. siegal. May you spend the rest of your life alone in your empty home. You deserve no less.
...Less

Colbert on the 47%.
How sad. Some of them didn't get any shrimp at all! And yet there was more on the plate!
Thus, we should be reminded that greed is an attribute of the those who strive for success! As Darwin said, it is the survival of the fittest. Now, I know that most of you do not believe in evolution. Nor do I. For you see, it was Divine Providence that selected those who were fed and the Damnation of those whose punishment of sin has resulted in hunger!
God selected the trajectory of the shrimp. As He knows all the feathers of the birds, He also knows each ones hunger and judges each ones worth. Who are we to thwart the Will of God? If He has chosen some to be left unfed, so be it.
God is not about redistribution of wealth. God is not about taxing the rich to give to the poor! American Values are what God rewards! And America has given us much Value! The poor need only to adopt the path that we have chosen, and they will be richly rewarded, too.

Rick Santorum Thinks Teleprompters Are Satan's Work.
It's all those devious little ones and zeros. The devils digits. 1010011010. Streaming down that wire!
The teleprompter display is another lie, misrepresenting the encoded message. Belief in displayed message is sort of a contraception of the mind. An abortion of thought.
Stand Tall. Open your mind to God. Throw back your head, open your throat and let the Words of the Lord flow forth!
Thus all True Believers speak in tongues, while Satin's black messenger is dictated to by technology's false prophets!

Patty Murray on Small Businesses, Timothy Geithner, Community Banks, and Her Re-Election Chances.
I hate to say it, but this woman is still in tennis shoes. The child kind.
When does she grow up and take the reigns of responsibility for being our state congressional leader?
If she really did want to help small businesses, she would propose starting a program similar to the student loan program where the government takes our $billions and gives it out in loans. Use the small local banks and credit unions to administer it as micro loans.
Right now, behemoths like Wells Fargo have no interest in loaning to the start-up. Even with a 90% SBA guaranteed loan they will not lend. So bypass the buggers and go direct.
Right now, I will vote for anyone but Patty - and that's a shame. Too bad she has failed us completely.

You know how they used to test to see if people were telling the truth during the inquisitions? Was Rubio telling whoppers?
or
Somebody gave Rubio a really big peanut butter sandwich just before the speech. That's the way they used to get the horse "Mr. Ed" to talk.
