@1 - Not sure what you hated so much about it. This movie was awesome. IMO, slowly piecing together a story is usually much more fun than being told from beginning to end.

Letters this week sounded like the stuff you read on Dear Prudence.
Jul 10 Ailurus commented on Judge Orders Boy to Have an Erection, Let Cops Take Photos.
On July 4th, the Manassas PD tweeted: "#July4th Safety Tip: Take a photo of your child before heading into a big crowd today & pick a meeting place in case someone gets separated."
Makes me wonder what they had in mind.
Jun 24 Ailurus commented on Former Mars Hill Member Writes About Pastor Mark Driscoll's "Demon Trials".
How do I know whether I'm guilty of "anything else that comes to mind"? I mean, things come to my mind all the time. Should I be worried?

Great, now trigger warnings are the best way to spoil a movie without having a spoiler alert. Way to go!
Jun 2 Ailurus commented on That’s Kind of Racist, Dude.
Stopped reading as soon as I saw the reference to the Colbert fake 'foundation'. Someone who does indeed believe that such episode is a display of racism (rather than a denouncing of it) simply does not understand what racism is nor its manifestations. Disappointing.

Two things here. One, how do you know whales are not killed humanely? Two, if whaling can be made sustainable and is still culturally important for some cultures, then why should they stop? Why impose your values on them?
Apr 4 Ailurus commented on The Man Seattle Police Killed Yesterday: 26-Year-Old Chef Cody Spafford.
@63 Thanks for the videos. I always advocate for the use of non-lethal means, and SPD has a long history of police brutality, but at least these are eye opening in what an officer might expect when being charged at by a suspect with a knife.

That said, when it comes to SPD I am always suspicious of whether things are the way they claim them to be. Police in this city is just infamous.
Apr 3 Ailurus commented on Interview with a Small-Business Owner Making Less Than Minimum Wage at His Small Business.
@24 Expert? Seriously, how was he an expert if his business barely looked like a cafe? Just now did I find out that this place was a cafe, not a place selling handicrafts with a coffee machine in the back. Even more, I always thought the place was called "Latin Folklore".
Apr 3 Ailurus commented on Total Compensation Is the Only Way to Raise Workers' Income and Preserve Your Local Favorite Small Business.
How about banning tipping, raising prices of food accordingly, and providing a stable income to waiters? Seriously, if a meal costs $10 and I have to add $1.50 as a base tip, why is it that the meal cannot cost $11.50? I would have already paid that much, plus as a customer I would know exactly how much I'd have to pay in the end.

This "total compensation" thing is just bullshit to avoid paying your employees what they deserve.
