I loved Heather. She was smart, funny and awesomely beautiful!
My favorite story about her was when another actor friend of mine was working with her, he said that the best part of the play was that he got to kiss heather.
She made a great pie and a great son.
Love

It's bad luck to leave wine in a glass...

Thank you Nick.

Seattle has needed a good sports bar since Jersey's closed. Man that place was off the hook. I think the only truly mixed bar in Seattle. Didn't matter if you were black or white, a suit or a punk, you were there to watch sports. It was awesome.

What I really like about this is that you can't buy it! The stores either don't have it, or the pickup option is not available at the Northgate store. And they don't ship it.
WHAT a tease!
My Cash-mass is ruined.

I worked with this kid who was a Chinese immigrant. He was kind of nimrod and like to get into a bit of trouble. Nothing big, just being a stupid kid. He asked me one day; "how come white cops are so much nicer than Asian cops?" I'm like, what? He said "yeah, the white cops around here are really nice, but the Asian ones beat the crap out of us". I asked him if he's ever heard of discrimination...
This was 25 years ago. In Seattle. This crap has been going on for a looooong time.

@34: Yeah, he may not spell or use grammar quite like one should, but he's still right.
I'm with him. :)

Are there any statistics about bikes hitting cars or pedestrians? Seriously.
I ride a Vespa and have done so for almost 30(!) years. I've been hit four times. Twice by cars (both times when some asshole does a u-turn without looking) and twice by bicycles, both times then I was legally taking a right (with my turn light on) and them passing (or trying to)on MY right, which is an illegal move.

And I've got a GREAT idea on how to fund more bike lanes and such; start ticketing bicyclist for not wearing helmets or running red lights and stop signs and use the money for the bike projects. No bicyclist can argue with that. I've gotten tickets on my scoot for doing the same thing...

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story gang. :)

I don't understand how it's legal to put a baby in a bike cart and ride in rush hour traffic. If I had a kid, I wouldn't put my kid at such risk... But what will happen is some guy will kill some kid someday, get strung up by the balls and the parents will go free. But then someone will hopefully ban this practice.
As far as scooter parking, I don't understand why it's legal to park a dumpster in an alley but not a scooter or motorcycle or anything that is private property. I mean, what's the difference?
This is a good reason to vote no in November. Who should pay for the upkeep of the roads? Metro. Show me a bus route and I'll show you a road that has been destroyed by those overweight buses.
But if our "leaders" showed some initiative and did some good planning, then maybe I would.
This city could be a world class bike city if the idiots that design the bike routes weren't all about making sure that you see them ride rather than making sure that the routes are safe.
