commented on Savage Love Letter of the Day: Will the Cheating Cheater I Cheated With Ever Stop Cheating On Me?
You know what, try not to pin any bad feelings on the 23 year-old. HAS she been your friend? She's come over, been nice, held your child and been discreet about the affair she was having with your husband. YOU know what it's like to be in her shoes, and apparently you're both attracted to this guy, so you know how he can be charming, etc.
If you want to have ill will towards someone, it should be your husband. He's the one cheating on you. Don't set yourself up against other women.
You sound like you're not that jealous, you just don't like the lying. You're basically the perfect wife for this guy, if he can stop being an idiot about it.
That said, I don't like rewarding assholes, so my main tendency is to tell you to nuke this relationship from orbit. :P

It kind of figures that an ex-Republican would make a good advocate. They're good at defending themselves and their policies--even when they and their policies are beyond defence. So you get a guy that's used to being on the attack and being strident about it, and suddenly he's on the side of the Democrats. He's totally going to be aggressive about it.

CREAMPIE's problem is timing, not desire.
Unload in your wife first. Sit back, wait, watch ABC plow your wife for a while, and eventually you'll get hot again. After he comes, you'll be hard again and you can go to town.
Or, alternately, force yourself to do the thing you find unappealing just once. You'll find it hot a couple hours later and you can think back about the experience when you ARE horny again.

LAW, don't worry that you lied to this guy. He's probably lying too: no way is that guy Canadian.
(Actually, there are still racist Canadians, much to my chagrin. But they seem awfully rare. I haven't met any that weren't transplants from another country--and that includes members of my own family.)

This is like racists that don't HATE other races, they just don't want to mingle with them or allow intermarriage or let them have equal rights.
They still LOVE 'ethnic' people, it's just that 'ethnics' use up welfare, or are more violent, or are to blame for all of the problems that white people have.
Right. Whatever. It's still hateful and bigoted, even if you like to claim otherwise. Those stats on marriage and family configuration were true 5 or 10 years ago before equal marriage was possible in any country. The demographics haven't changed much.
Face it lady, it's heteo people that screwed marriage up. They're the only ones that could've--they were the only ones that were allowed to.

Okay, I've just listened to the beginning of the podcast about not being able to feel things in condoms, and I have to comment.
I'm one of those guys. I don't use it as an excuse to pressure women into bareback sex, but I do say up front that we'll be having very little penetrative sex. I've tried female condoms, but that's like fucking a baggie. No good.
I've been able to get off with a condom on maybe 4 or 5 times. It can work sometimes, but I've yet to figure out what the magic formula is. Lube or not, special sized condoms (my first condom experiences were with ones that were too small; no wonder there was no sensation) or not, it's all just sort of dead. It *may* have something to do with being uncircumcised, but I don't know. Now I've got a weird phobia of them and even just trying to put one on makes me lose my erection. So they're sort of out of the picture.
But I also know people--like, personally--that have stopped while having sex because it DID feel better all of a sudden. I know WOMEN that have stopped their partners because they noticed the condom break because it feels better for THEM all of a sudden.
I'm not one to criticize science, but I don't think it's so cut and dry as 'there's no difference'. There's necessarily a difference; latex isn't the same as flesh. Condoms are more abrasive; they chafe if you don't keep them super lubed (which is one of the reason why porn stars don't like them).
It's not an excuse to force anyone to do anything, but I don't buy the claim. (But I'm going to go find that study and see what it says. Science!)

I don't really think that's fair to Al Jazeera. They're a news organization, and they report the news. And they do a better job of reporting without editorializing than most news organizations. The CBC doesn't always remind Canadians what the state of marriage equality is here when they talk about marriage equality in the USA. I'm sure the BBC doesn't, either.
Let Al Jazeera report the news, and leave the news distorting to Fox.
