Michelle Malkin Hits Rock Bottom.
@21 They sure do. They love it. Just look at the comments on youtube. As much as I despise them, the comments that really irk me are the ones saying horrible things about the FLOTUS/President/liberals. The comments loving this stupid video don't bother me as much.

My Mouth has Fallen in Love with Fake Meat.
Two Bells on Fourth Ave had (I moved away from Seattle in 2007, so it's been a while) the best veggie burger ever. Not sure if that is what you are looking for. I would kill for that veggie burger right now. And I am a meat eater.

May Day Protest Coverage.
My sister works for at the Nordstrom corporate office, and she wrote me that the building was on lockdown because their office doors were smashed. Has anyone else heard or seen this?

SL Letter of the Day: Jump! Jump! Jump!.
I would encourage you and/or your wife, or anyone in this situation to attend a local PFLAG meeting. We provide support, encouragement and resources to people just like you and your wife all the time. I also echo Dan's advise to seek out the StraightSpouse network. Good luck to you!

Just One of Dem Days.
Hell, my car was broken into on 5th and Lenora, a very busy street, in broad daylight. I was stupid for leaving a small bag in the backseat with my coat on top of it. But shit, I had lived and worked in that block for years and never expected a break-in in broad daylight with heavy traffic. I cried, because they got some really important/sentimental stuff. Not worth much $$, but irreplaceable.

Bar Lovers and City Officials Scrap with Residents Over Outdoor Seating at the 5 Point.
Opposition to a small seating area at the 5 Point is just leotarded. Back in 2007, I lived in the Wall Street Tower just across the street (is it now condos?) and frequented the 5 Point. The "park," more like a triangle of concrete with a statue in the middle, it is not used by locals for anything but walking through. There were no condo buildings that would be affected by people eating and drinking outside (has something new been built? Where? Above Zeeks Pizza?). I think outdoor seating would ADD to the neighborhood.
PS - Is Golden Singha still there? God, I miss that place.
