I went to Art of the Table for the first time this past Monday for Happy Monday. I don't know if I will ever be able to eat in another restaurant and not compare it to the meal I had at AOFT. The menu is small but I think that makes the decision-making easier, just try one of everything. My favorites were the tuna confit and caramelized cauliflower pasta and the lamb-stuffed pepper with hummus and cilantro cream. It is just loud and small enough in the dining room that you feel like you are at a friend's house for a dinner party where everyone has had just a little too much wine (that's if you have friends who could ever cook this well). I wish that I could tell everyone that this place was awful because it is already hard enough to get a table but you must go, drop everything (if it is Monday) and run. Be ready for foodgasm after foodgasm. Oh and the waitresses are attentive, knowledgeable and super nice!
