I Would Like You to Know My Name.
I'm crying here at work as I finish your article. Thank you for your honesty, bravery, and open-heartedness. It was such a profound sharing of your self.
I'm so sorry for all you have been through and all you have lost. It is so unbelievable. But I am heartened to hear that you have the courage, heart, and will to move forward with your life, not as who you used to be, but as you are today.
You are in our thoughts.

The Bravest Woman in Seattle.
Holy shit, that was hard to read. Soul crushing. Breaks my heart to hear what these two women suffered through. It's my hope and prayer that this woman find some peace and healing in this lifetime.
As for him, as much as we'd like to forget his name and face, I hope we don't. We have to make sure he is never, ever released on the streets again. It would be a relief if he succeeded in killing himself. He's sick.

The Dead Weather Are a Little Less Believable When the Sun's Still Out.
Saw these guys at Paramount last summer and was fairly disappointed after having seen White Stripes and the Kills separately. Hart's repetoire and voice are intensely limited and irritating after a few songs. White singing and on guitar was the best part of the show that I saw. Feels a little too much like shtick.

Reading Tonight: Finneyfrock It Up.
Yay, Karen! I usually hate poetry but she made me re-think my ways. Her words are alive and they will do things to you and you might even like it.
