Ugh. Can we have a rule that if you don't know the difference between their and they're you aren't allowed to comment?

"Because that's the level of burden on Seattle employers right now — and that's before considering the impact of the ObamaCare mandate, mandatory composting in restaurants, or the plastic bag ban."

This is definitely satire, right??

eh. please steal whatever you want from me. I'm pretty sure you will be disappointed. I do feel for people that actually have things to care about.

Agree completely. I work an office job with benefits and my hourly is about $14/hr. It's not great, but it works. However, my bartender friends make sooooooo much more money than i do. Like hundreds of dollars more. If this debate is to be taken seriously, there needs to be more than propaganda. From either side.

@3 I want so, so badly to agree with this, but I can't. The unfortunate truth is that, while there are plenty of great sound men/women out there, the vast majority are the enemy. Asking a couple friends up front, who have seen you play many times, is not unreasonable when your sound person is a fucking douchebag. And that is like 85% of the time.

I'm a big fan of your posts Jason. They pop up randomly and are usually the most interesting thing to read on Lineout. Thanks for that.

@87 yeah, because Woody Allen's movies have never had press before 2014. That was a dumb statement.

I still have yet to hear a reason she would out with this 20 years later. I know it happened in the early 90's, but that was when she was a child.

I honestly don't understand why you people seem to think that this is a thing that doesn't happen. Did you really grow up in a place that child molestation and rape is not thing that happens?

@62 Fair enough. My bad. Is my grammar deficiency really the issue here?
