Great review, it really makes me want to see the show. And I for one am happy that you acknowledge that straight-white-man is the lens you saw the show through. The refrain "five women and one trans person" bothered me a bit. Did you have a chance to talk to the 'trans person' and find out how they self-identify? Because I kept thinking, "Is the trans person not a woman?"
