@2, in what way is the start "embarrassingly flawed?"

@4, that's not the best analogy, because unlike satanic ritual abuse, rape actually happens.

Kind of strange to see Mudede expressing such deep appreciation for a millionaire convicted of tax evasion.
Nov 21, 2014 LJM commented on Rand Paul Compares President Obama's Immigration Order to Japanese Internment Camps.
There is no honest way to say that Paul is comparing Obama's actions to Roosevelt's. He never says, "this is like that."

He is saying that when you give presidents too much power, they can do bad things as well as good things. Because they do. They do things like violate the War Powers Resolution and keep lists of citizens to assassinate and hold suspects indefinitely without trials.

I agree with what Obama did and I disagree with Paul's position on immigration, but this post is as dishonest as anything you'll find at Free Republic or Fox News.

Blind, partisan loyalty is inherently conservative.

I believe that President Obama believes his words.

This is Glenn Beck levels of faith based politics. I'm all for what he's doing, but if Obama believed the trite bullshit he spouted, do you think he would have deported more people than Bush?

Rand Paul speaks his conscience but votes with his party when it really matters.

So, he's exactly like Obama, then (only with less blood on his hands). Got it.

@22, If Washington isn't "funding education enough" using more per-pupil dollars than most other industrialized nation, then how much more is "enough?"…

The problem isn't funding, it's management.

Also, in a system where a good portion of mandated classes will never be useful to most students, there will always be wasted money. Changing the way we offer education to kids will create smaller class sizes and better serve the kids.

It seems that the physics in the above gif are every bit as realistic as the characters.
