I've been married for 10 years to a boy I met on the bus. We have 3 lovely kids, great life, and because this is Savage Love I'll add that the sex just keeps getting better.

Talk to him. (If it helps, when my husband first spoke to me, he noticed my London Tube keychain and mentioned that he'd recently been there as well. Maybe the two of you have something like that in common that you can start with...)

I went to school in this district, and this whole thing has made me sick. I wrote to the school board months ago and was told that they do take this seriously and were addressing it. If this is addressing it, they don't take it nearly as seriously as I hoped.

I think they need to lose their lawsuit and be forced into real change. I just made a donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center in the hopes that will happen.

Um, I don't think I've ever before agreed with TheMisanthrope, but I find myself doing so today.

I won't argue that it makes it OK - that's for individual consumers to decide for themselves - but I do think it's expected that corporations will favor the politicians who want to let those corporations act without interference.

Target does think it can have its conservative politicians and your gay dollars, because it thinks the two are unrelated.

The thing is 30 years old, and it's fallen in before (never quite this badly, though). Although I'm glad we'll soon have a new governor here, I doubt he could've done much to prevent this.

I thought he was just listing "Mum and Dad" among a list of POSSIBLE people that a bullied kid could talk to.

"Good for them," my ass. Walking out on him was good TV, which I imagine they knew when they agreed to have him on the show. They couldn't possibly have expected him to behave any differently than he did. He's built a career on being a loudmouthed jerk.

The whole thing reads as fake to me. Or at the very least, unproductive.

Did it strike anyone else as odd that both of the debaters over this important (?) aspect of feminism were men?

So, which is the chicken and which is the egg? Do these traits "cause" higher IQs, or are people with higher IQs drawn to atheism/liberalism/etc.?
