@32 & @33: Maybe Munchausen's is a form of sociopathy? The narcissism and sadism mentioned in the article are both criteria for diagnosing sociopathy, at least as far as I understand it. And it seems like the people with Munchausens, like sociopaths, also lack empathy - how else could they wreak such havoc with others' lives?

Excellent work. And fascinating. I found out in college that I'm bipolar and I decided I needed to quit smoking pot, since I reasoned (somehow) that it was contributing to my ongoing depression, and I was roundly mocked for my decision by my pot-smoking (and closest) friends. Learning now about marijuana's connection to those pre-disposed to a psychotic break (which I've mercifully never experienced), I feel a little vindicated. My logic was flawed, but my instinct was right.

It's an editorial titled "Why same-sex marriage is a really bad idea" written by Aaron Fruh, lead pastor at Knollwood Church in Mobile, Ala.
There is nothing new or newsworthy in this editorial (he even trots out the Inevitable Incest! argument), which leads me to believe that the Tribune is running this piece in the name of balance, after its positive profile of Dan. Feh.
