If you choose to have the child, it will be your life for the next decade or so. That can be a good thing, as it is for many people.
That said, you can also give birth to the child and then put them up for adoption. Adoptive parents are often good people.

In all seriousness, I would approach this by telling the friend that your concerned about their bladder and would strongly encourage them to see a vet. One of my fears though would be about losing contact with them again.

Reading this letter, I sense the lack of confidence and self-esteem is the bigger culprit than height regarding the LW's lack of dating success. I'd recommend the classic advice: do extra-curricular things you love, forge relationships with those who share your passions, and be open to approaching/being approached by those who aren't otherwise perfect.

Oh boy, this letter (well, what I read) reminds me of my awful attempts at dating in my 20s. Whoo eeeee, it was bad! My meager advice: Hang in there mrphonz and, when people want to do nice things for you, let them! Good luck.
