Savage Love.
As a girl, if someone ever addressed my genitalia as "cute" I don't think I'd take it well. I also cannot fathom calling a guy's cock "cute". Unless I was really annoyed and was aiming it as an insult.
#2 - I read the letter that way the first time, then I re-read it, and it doesn't make sense to have waited that long to bring it up. Rather I think he's waited that long to ask anyone about the muddy elephant everyone is pretending they don't know about.

I posted this to my facebook. Dan - you and Terry have a wonderful family, and I am so happy for you. As a heterosexual female I can't quite relate to the sexuality bullying. But I certainly had my share of picked on-ness as I didn't go to school (homeschooled), wore thrift store clothes, spoke funny (english accent)... Kids can be cruel, but it does get better!

The 2010 Stanley Cup Finals Start Saturday.
I guess on the one hand I (as a diehard Canucks fan) am rooting for Chicago (damn them anyways) since then I can look at it as "well if we had played a bit smarter and a bit harder we could have gone all the way". (logic in the form of: If the team that beat us, makes it, we could have made it if we beat them)
And yeah, Byfuglien is an ass, but at least he's not Pronger.
Go Hawks!

I clearly need to listen to your podcast more often as I only NOW get the idea behind the tech-savvy t-shirt.
As a Canadian I had to chuckle at "There are no phones in Canada?" so thank you for making me giggle. (I would call in but I haven't come up with a burning question...)
And lastly - thank you for the response highlighting the fragility & hope of relationships. You take what you have. You decide you have faith in it, and you go forward with what you have. Or not. (I think I'm currently falling into the latter.)

SL Letter of the Day: Another Satisfied Customer.
That letter is awesome. I don't know how many years I've been reading, but I sure wish I'd been her age when I did. I've learned so much about myself through the eyes of others. And I also agree with motion that Dan should write a sex-ed book for teens. (Not that I've read his other books - I really should fix that lack in my life.)
