What TALENT did JLo have to break into the "industry" other than her huge ass and dating Puff Daddy in order to wear that dress that made her look like a whore. She may have sang something in between and "acted" (using that term loosely) in a couple shit movies but that shit didn't make her famous, the selling of her ass did.

She might seem like that combo compared to a Kardashion, but I'm not lowering my standard on fame whores just because you like the E! Network.

Dear 5280,

Remember the post recently where you thought it was silly to count cops shooting people as "gun violence"? Doesn't seem so silly now does it?

Endlessly hoping you go fuck yourself,

I think Hillary is much better served as Secretary of State and I honestly hope Dems don't need tap her for VP just to retain the WH for another four more years.

I am crossing my fingers that Obama will pick Grayson as VP and keep Clinton as SoS. She really is doing a phenomenal job what the clusterfuck she was handed.

@10 that's a good point and I agree. I didn't mean to imply saintlyhood, just that these guys deserve a little restraint from reporters considering the incredible circumstances. Especially because this bit about a man having a wife and a girlfriend adds nothing to the story. It isn't about how two women overcame anger to support the man they love, or a story about how severe situations bring new light to some of life's oddities blah blah blah, it's just sensational bullshit to increase page views/etc and it's not only insensitive, but completely unnecessary. God forbid someone did some actual writing or reporting. Nope, just post a link and add a pithy comment and *poof* you have "journalism".

But no one cares, today we are all parodies of ourselves just waiting to go viral, not unlike bacteria.

These are ACTUAL people with children, mothers, brothers, and lovers. They are not the cast of Jersey Shore and reporters need to find a way to make that distinction. They didn't sign up to be a spectacle, they went to work and tragedy ensued.

Sadly, most journalists today aspire to be Jerry Springer, not Walter Cronkite.

I'm really disappointed in you, Charles and thought you had more integrity.

I've heard more about Hilary for VP in 2012, not president.

Of course Obama will lose. We have all seen how he has no clue how to run a political campaign. It was a shame he didn't utilize the internet to revolutionize how politicians build and support grassroots campaigns while simultaneously raising tons of cash.

Let's be honest about his presidency too, Obama hasn't been up to much since in office.

Wasn't there a post yesterday about the Soda/Btl Water/Candy companies trying to run a campaign about how their products are "food" to help repeal a tax. Now we have a campaign here promoting ACTUAL healthy food that wants to be thought of as "junk food".

Welcome to the downfall of society ladies, and gentleman.

I think they already have a word for it: narcissism.
