So where are you visiting? Pen Island?

@41: I most certainly wasn't saying anything negative about mothers in general. I was simply advocating for equal blame among the genders. If we're going to judge women, let's hold men to the same standard.

To read all this blather (both the original post and so many of the comments), you'd think that women simply reproduced on their own. Where are the shitty fathers in these scenarios, and why aren't they getting a share of the "negligent parent" blame? Oh, right, because raising children is women's work.

I was happy with just the discount on shipping... I get my money's worth during the holidays alone. But hey, if they want to give me more free stuff, that's cool too!

Was lucky enough to get in on the sneak preview Saturday night at Pacific Place. It was really gory, and went to a lot of really weird and creepy places, but I would definitely recommend it, but not to my mom, or my kids, or anyone who is offended by anything. It was hilarious though, and Nathan Fillion's character was completely priceless.

@14 We could at least dump everything east of the mountains. They're dead weight, and they don't want to be associated with us anyway.

@110: Yes! Same here! Slog Happy is one of those things that sounds like fun, but wouldn't dare do while packing extra pounds, for exactly the same reason.

Lindy, you've got balls. Love it! Also, I think you look put-together and amazing! This was fantastic.

I'm a regular reader (and almost-never commenter) and Dan's posts drive me crazy, but I chalk them up to him needing to grow up a little and having insecurities about himself and his own appearance. That doesn't make it right, though, and I find it alienating as a reader.

This completely rocks... grilled eggplant and sweet pepper sandwiches it is! Oddly, I was wishing for a site just like this about a month ago.
