commented on Some Serious Manspreading on a Metro Bus
I know that my friends and I (and some women I've spoken to on transit) put our bags in the seats on uncrowded buses to discourage men from sitting next to us. This is absolutely because so many of them manspread or pester us. There are some men that purposely sitting next to us, even if there are 10-12 seats open. You can't tell me that isn't suspect. I will actively make eye contact with other women getting on transit that is starting to fill up and ask them specifically to sit next to me. I do it because I've had to deal with one too many creepers in my life. I'm sorry that most of you dudes don't get this. It's a fucking fact of life for women who ride crowded transit.

That looks so good! If you find yourself out in Clallam County, you'll have to visit Traylor's on 101 in Port Angeles. It's one of those places that if I could hug it, I would, because it reminds me of my childhood and going to restaurants with my mother.

He's contacting the other woman through her mother's landline. He is totally being sneaky and lying to her. And not being very good about it, because a smart cheater would get a burner phone. And she's being sneaky and snooping, but he's giving her some reason to do it. Starting with the whole bit where he's manipulating her through the "my ex accused me of cheating when I wasn't" which makes him look guilty. She doesn't want to be like the ex, but maybe the ex was onto something, huh? He's protesting too much against cheating. He's no better than a religious man who rails vehemently against sex and then is out finding him some on the side.
You need to DTMA. You are obviously miserable, and it sounds like so is he. Otherwise, he wouldn't be sneaking around to talk to this other woman.

Not to mention all the space UNDER that seat. Also looping the backpack over the handle of the suitcase. If you worry about leaving a backpack under the seat of the transit, loop a strap around your foot. Which you should do if you ever put a backpack on the ground while traveling, because safety.
I know that Light Rail is limited but, there's nothing wrong with complaining to a driver and if there's a transit person doing a ride along they can always enforce the policy (of being a decent human being). I've seen transit workers do it on Sound Transit buses.

I'm going to echo one and two but I know it as eggy bread or egg in a basket. Toad in the Hole is sausages covered with basically a Yorkshire pudding and it's delicious.
This also sounds really good and I will be experimenting with this very soon.
