Soldiers are Superheroes, Kids!.
Wait, Superman does not get involved in politics. Even though he's based in Metropolis, USA, he seeks to maintain an international sort of citizenship, which is why he doesn't fight in wars; it's important to him not to be seen as an extension of the US government.
So this is a misuse of the Superman brand.

Oh, I see your intent. Obviously, the suicidal part was a joke, and I'm think it came before the post he was responding to. I don't think saying someone is suicidal really suggests that someone has committed suicide, which seems to be your interpretation. I also assumed that Goldy read the remark about the kid's survival as something that mitigated what Goldy considers the seriousness of the situation. In other words, the previous comment seems like it could be saying, "Well, it's not like the kid died."
But still, I can't see in the original post anything that claims the child has died from this wound.

Not sure where I see where Goldy got any facts wrong, unless you're focusing on the obviously sarcastic description of "suicidal" kids. I don't think the word "martyr" necessitates death, and I didn't see anything in the post that says anyone died, which seems to be what you're implying.
Yeah, I read that as sarcasm, too.
