SL Letter of the Day: Barely Legal.
The math gets a bit less sketchy depending on how the numbers are rounded.
Suppose that:
a) author was just barely 26
b) partner was very nearly 22
c) "five years" was really more like "4.8 years"
In this (perhaps optimistic) case, their ages would have been 17 and 21 at the start, which does pass the "half plus seven" rule that another poster brought up.
Heck, at 17, should *could* have been a college freshman. Early graduation is not that uncommon. At 21, the author was probably a college senior. A senior/freshman romance. Oh the humanity!

SL Letter of the Day: How Many Is Too Many?.
Not being able to list them does not necessarily imply an enormous number. A few relationships interspersed with with some hook-ups over 6+ years could be a fairly reasonable number, yet still hard to nail down due to the not-so-memorable hook-ups.
//also you can count pretty high on two hands if you know binary ;)

SL Letter of the Day: Pill The Homos!.
You know, now that he brings it up, this whole choice/not-a-choice debate is irrelevant. If it were a choice, it would make no difference.
(also, if it is a choice, that would imply that we are all fundamentally bi)

Part of the Problem.
Where was all this talk of racism, stereotypes and privilege on the original post?
As far as I can tell, not one commenter raised the issue then, though many questioned the artistic value.
