commented on WA AG Bob Ferguson Orders T-Mobile to End Deceptive "No Contract" Advertising
Still not sure how people overlook Virgin Mobile, which has been providing a similar structure for years. You pay full price up front for the device, but then you get unlimited data and texting for $35 each month—and they have true, contract-free monthly plans.
I know I've become a biased evangelist for VM, but I also don't like to see other consumers hosed by iron-fisted carriers.

This terrible "infographic" does the victims of Sandyhook, the investigation of the shooting, and the conversation about gun violence absolutely no justice.
This is barely even information. It's a poorly shopped collection of low res images. No data, no labels, no key, no context. I also read through the source warrant for this information and the creators of this graphic left out a number of items (including paper targets, ear protection, binoculars, a bloody cotton swab and a couple empty casings).
Also, it looks like absolute shit.

Any developer who doesn't backup their work locally is...well, you shouldn't hire them again. If they're only referring to the content itself, though, that's another story.

I've been seeing a lot of this self-delusion lately, especially from some of the worst offenders on Facebook and Twitter on election night. Case in point: http://ow.ly/fapyW
I honestly don't think these folks know what "racist" means.

commented on New Logos: Arby's Vs. Wendy's
This new Arby's logo is hideous. What's up with the gradient? Why is the cowboy hat "3D" but the text isn't? Who took all those wedges out of the apostrophe and letter "s"? And did anyone even stop to consider they might need to reproduce this...I don't know...on an illuminated sign, on a menu, in black and white, on napkins, or really, anywhere?
